Food and Crafts

So you remember my menu board I was doing, right? Well, in order for that to work... I need some menus. So we went through some of our cookbooks and picked out some things to try. I took pictures of everything and will now show you.

This is Slow Cooked Pepper Steak.

 It was pretty good (if I remember right...)

We came upon some ants one day... a LOT of ants. And so we bought some ant killer. And I took some pictures.

You can see the hole that they were coming in our house from.

 This is a bunch of dead ants.

Sad. I know. But I wanted them dead.

Back to the Pepper Steak!

This our second meal.

Cheese Enchiladas. 

They were pretty dang good. BUT James likes his mom more. Wish he would have told me that before I took the time to make them...

The next meal we had was Teriyaki Barbecued Chicken Sandwiches.

 I'm pretty sure this was cooked in the Crockpot.

The stuff under the chicken is coleslaw.

This meal is called Pizza Biscuit Bake.

It was pretty good.

 This one is my absolute favorite and we've had it a few times since.

All these meals were super delicious and made it onto my list for things to put on my menu board.

Now this next part is from right before we moved. I saw on pinterest this thing on how to cut glass with yarn, nail polish remover and fire. I have not actually done it yet. But here are the wine bottles I grabbed out of the recycling center before we left.

After my camera

So after James got me my awesome camera, I had so much fun with it! I was walking home from school one day when I found this praying mantis. And he was so awesome! So I ran up to our apartment and grabbed my camera. Then took a few shots.

Then a little bit later, it was October! Time for pumpkins and such! So my family has a place they go to when they get pumpkins and I took a few pictures here too.

Then James and I got a job for an online newspaper in Cache County. We had to give him pictures for our Press Passes. However, before we got those passes, the guy could no longer pay us. So... we never got them. But these are the pictures we took for them. I look cute :D

Derek and Martha's Wedding

So sadly... I did not get a single picture OF Derek and Martha. But it was a beautiful wedding with a wonderful reception. Martha was gorgeous and Derek was very handsome.

When the wedding was over, we decided to go to the zoo. So we changed out of our nice clothes... in the car. It was funny.

When Roni came to visit

So I will try to get this as chronologically as I possibly can.

This set of pictures is from before James and I were married! (yeah.. a long time ago) My cousin, Roni, came down for my wedding (so sweet) and he has never been to Utah (that he can remember anyways) and so we took him to Salt Lake to see the temple!

Catch Up

So I'm officially going to try to catch up. I have no reason to not add everything RIGHT NOW!

So be prepared for lots and lots of posts! With pictures from who knows when! And then after all that, I'll finally post Canada.

Almost Done

So it's been a while. And I still have a ton of pics to put up from the past 6 months or so. However, they probably won't happen until after Canada.

I have today, thursday, next tuesday and kind of next thursday left of my class!

Why kind of? Well, I don't actually have to go. I just need to turn in my last draft of my paper before 1 p.m. on June 21st and I will be done. I cannot wait to be done with school!

I know it's only an associates but my brain is fried. I just can't seem to ... learn anymore.

I took some maternity pictures of my best friend back in November and I've been working really hard to finish editing them (cause I'm horrible and haven't given them to her yet).

I know that makes me super unprofessional and I am so so so SO sorry to her. I didn't mean for it to take this long and it doesn't normally take this long but last Fall semester destroyed me.

I feel like my ADD has come back with a vengeance cause I just can't seem to keep focus on anything anymore.

I was up real late doing editing and hope to get a lot more done today.

On June 21st, I will turn in my final paper for English 2010 and then I will pack. On June 22nd at some early time in the morning, my family and I will be heading to Canada!

This will be James first time out of the country and I'm super excited.
